- STARTING AT I-75 at I-285.
- Take I-75 north to interstate 575 North to Hwy 515 to Blue Ridge GA. (4-lane all the way). Go past Blue Ridge about 2 miles and turn left on GA highway 60.
- Drive about 3 miles and turn right on Hwy 60 Spur - two lanes.
- Cross the North Carolina State Line - Hwy 60 is four lanes after this point.
- Drive until 60 Spur dead ends into U.S. 64. Turn left (west) onto U.S 64.
- Drive west on U.S. 64 for about 2 miles and turn right on NC Hwy 294.
- Drive about 8.4 miles to a concrete bridge and turn right on Hiwassee Dam Access Rd.
